How to Make Dish Washing Liquid by Ethically So.

Make your own Dish Washing Liquid

I don’t know about you guys but I’m always playing around at home seeing what I can come up with when it comes to cutting down on my waste and purchases. We’ll today I decided to have a crack at making my own dish washing liquid. I’m not going to lie, it was so rediculously easy. The majority of the ingredients I actually already had lying around in my cupboards. I only needed to invest in the castile soap, which wasn’t an issue as castile soap as so many other purposes.

The Recipe:

1/4 cup grated Dish Soap or Liquid Castile Soap

  • 2 cups boiling water

  • 1-2 Tbsp white vinegar

  • 1tsp Baking Soda

  • 1 Tbsp vegetable glycerin (optional) - I didn’t use this

  • 5 drops lemon essential oil (optional) - I only had lavender + peppermint so used those
