The inspiration behind this product was to create a velvety smooth feeling cream that when applied to the skin, rubbed in easily but didn’t leave a heavy or greasy after-feel. The product benefits were heavily focused on repairing and nourishing the skin while you slept. Repairing scars, blemishes and uneven skin tone with potent antioxidants and using richer moisturising ingredients allowing them to soften and soothe irritated skin. Promoting youthful and healthier skin so you wake up feeling fresh. Developed with Akaia blends core values of being natural, plant-based, vegan, cruelty-free, and handmade in NZ using locally sourced ingredients.

SKIN REPAIRING - Diminish the sun’s damaging effects and reduce free-radical damage, thereby promoting youthful, healthy skin. Repair damaged, dry or chapped skin, wounds, and eczema.
ANTIOXIDANT RICH - Grapeseed extract, Vitamin E, Jojoba oil, rosehip oil, and apple and raspberry extract all contain lovely antioxidant properties.
HYDRATING - Hydrates and locks in moisture in the deeper layers of the skin without feeling heavy or greasy.
NON - IRRITATING - A blend of non-irritating ingredients and Allantoin that helps soothe and protect the skin. Has been tested on inflamed eczema.
UNSCENTED - This product is unscented and contains no essential oils. Just the natural smell of the pure ingredients.
WON'T CLOG PORES - Low comedogenic formula.

Directions: At night after cleansing rub a small amount of cream into your face and neck. Wait until dry to apply oils.

Meet the ingredients:
Aloe vera - (Aloe barbadensis leaf juice) - A great anti-inflammatory ingredient well known for its moisturising and soothing properties.
Lavandin hydrosol - (Lavandula hybridia) - Distilled in New Zealand from locally grown flowers. A great ingredient for mildly blemished skin. Also provides a lovely mild lavender scent.
Jojoba oil - (Simmondsia chinensis) - Is said to nourish the skin and help regulate sebum production. Jojoba oil penetrates the skin easily and can also reduce water loss through the skin by forming a protective film.
Rosehip oil - (Rosa moschata) - A powerful skin repair oil, containing high levels of beta-carotene, which is a key nutrient in assisting skin cell renewal. Rosehip oil is said to help reduce the appearance of scars and uneven skin tone.
Olivem 1000 - (Cetearyl olivate, Sorbitan olivate) - Ecocert approved emulsifier developed from natural olive derivatives, used to help thicken and emulsify oil and water together. Safe and clinically tested to be hypoallergenic.
Shea butter - (Butyrospermum parkii ) - A rich, thick butter made from the shea nut, is an excellent moisturiser that can help soothe irritated skin.
Vegetable glycerin - (Glycerol) - Acts as a humectant that helps to draw and lock moisture into the skin. We use palm-free glycerin manufactured from rapeseed and/or soybean oil.
Cetyl alcohol - A fatty alcohol that serves as a thickener and emollient to moisturise and soften the skin. Not part of your typical alcohols like ethanol, cetyl alcohol isn’t bad, it is non-drying and non-irritating.
Grapeseed extract powder - (Vitis vinifera) - A very potent antioxidant that helps to diminish the sun’s damaging effects and reduce free-radical damage, thereby promoting youthful, healthy skin. The extract contributes to improving skin elasticity and increasing moisture levels. It has antiseptic properties and can be used to repair damaged, dry or chapped skin, wounds, and eczema.
Hydrolyzed oat protein - Provides a velvety smoothness to the skin, with a soft, cushiony feel. Helps to boost the moisturising properties of our product.
Apple extract - (Pyrus malus) - The humble apple is a powerhouse of nutrients including vitamin c and other antioxidants.
Raspberry extract - (Rubus idaeus) - Raspberries are rich in Ellagic acid, Vitamin C and Anthocyanins all of which are potent antioxidants that help to protect the skin and slow the visible signs of aging.
Vitamin E - (Tocopherols) - An antioxidant to help prevent the oxidation of lipids.
Allantoin - Is a non-irritating ingredient that soothes and protects the skin, it’s said to increase the smoothness of skin, help heal wounds, and stimulate the growth of healthy tissue.
Geogard ultra - (Gluconolactone, Sodium benzoate, Calcium gluconate) - Ecocert approved broad-spectrum preservative. GMO-Free. Is also known to increase the skin moisturising capacity of formulas.
Xanthan gum - Is derived from the fermentation of glucose or corn syrup, and an excellent natural thickener.
